Starting from Customer Challenges — Technical Excellence Earns Long-Term Trust from a German OEM 05

(1) On-Site Engagement: Pinpointing Three Critical Pain Points

After our initial meeting with a leading global German wind turbine manufacturer at the 2018 Beijing Wind Power Exhibition, we quickly dispatched a technical team for an on-site visit. Through in-depth discussions, we identified three key challenges in their high-speed, high-pressure braking applications:

• Brake pads frequently failed in high-salinity environments, leading to high maintenance costs and unplanned downtime;

• Friction material performance was unstable, with severe coefficient decay under wet conditions, compromising braking reliability;

• Backplate deformation caused abnormal brake clearance, posing a risk to overall system safety.

These issues not only impacted equipment reliability but also became major barriers to the client’s localization strategy.

(2) Targeted Innovation: A Systematic Technical Response

We launched a “three-pillar” R&D approach to address each challenge:

• Redesigned sealing structure to enhance ingress protection;

• Applied specialized marine-atmosphere corrosion-resistant coatings to extend component life.

In parallel, we upgraded our quality management systems: starting from ISO 9001, we obtained the CRCC Railway Product Trial Certificate in 2023, achieved full CRCC certification and began volume supply to China State Railway Group in 2025, and fully implemented the ISO 22163 Railway Quality Management System—laying a robust foundation for high-end manufacturing.

(3) Proven Results: Recognition and Volume Orders

Our systematic efforts delivered clear outcomes:

• The solution passed validation on first submission, with 960-hour salt spray results exceeding client expectations;

• During factory audits in 2021, 2023, and 2025, the client repeatedly remarked: “Every time we visit, you’ve gotten better.”

• Starting April 2025, the client began large-volume deliveries and officially listed us as a core supplier in its global supply chain.
